Finding Background Music

The first step of the editing process for our group was finding backing music. We thought this was a good starting point, as we could develop the edit and the montage clips, based on how they fitted in with the music.

We all decided that we wanted a remixed song from the charts. Not only would this be recognisable for that audience, it would create a great backdrop for The Arch. We did think about keeping it purely drum and bass, so it linked in with the club night we filmed at, but decided that this could potentially be too distracting for the audience, as it would be hard to use it as background music during the interview sections of the video.

Below is a remix of 'The Girl' by Kungs. We hope to use this song in our documentary, but just a royalty free version. This means that we won't get a copyright infringement if we were post our final video on youtube, or to The Arch.
