SKETCH: T-Shirt Design

Above is my completed T-Shirt design.

Taking influence from my research, I decided on two main design details. The first being the 'ringer tee' style. The black arms add contrast to the design, and also allow the black in the print to stand out. The second design detail is the larger design on the back of the shirt and the smaller on the front.

To link my design outcomes, I used one of my sticker designs as the logo at the front of the shirt.

I wanted the back to stand out the most, so used the full scale sketch of Dixie, to add height to the design. I also decided to place the information lines on the sleeves. Not only does this allow all the different elements of the typographic poster to feature on the t-shirt, it also links to current trends in graphic t-shirts, which feature writing on the sleeves.

Overall, I am very happy with this design as I think it looks modern and on trend. I hope to get this printed.
