SKETCH: Twitter Banner

Above is my completed twitter banner design. I created this using photoshop.

First I selected the correct sizing for a twitter header: 1500px (width) X 421px (height). I then added a profile photo box, so I could work my design around this. Above is a screengrab of my completed banner.

Overall, I like the design. I think the amount of white space makes it look professional and sleek. Below is my first attempt at this banner. I think that the mirrored black and white sketch does look effective but it makes the banner look very noisy within its composition. I think the single up side down image adds a certain style and aesthetic whilst still falling into the minimalistic aesthetic.
