Photoshoot // Dixie Denness

Above are the best prints from this shoot.

Above is the contact sheet from this shoot.
This photoshoot will be the basis of my main design. I used my friend Dixie Denness as the model, and styled her in retro/thrift shop style clothing, to give the design a twist. The bold patterns and glasses should look effective when drawn round.
The back drop of brick wall added an urban element, as well as another visual element of pattern. I may use this to add to the main design, drawing round select bricks to give the portrait a setting and context.
Overall, I feel that the shoot went well. I like how the photographs turned out and I am excited to start my main designs with these images. I now need to decide which image to choose.
