Updated Idea // The Arch

After not being able to gain access to other clubs we have decided to souly focus our documentary on The Arch. We have enough footage for this to be possible, and have a lot of ideas on how we want our documentary to come across.

The first path we may go down is experimenting with 'The Underground' music scene. Many of the Vox Pops, as well as the owner of The Arch, Sammy mention this in their responses. So this could be a great possibility.

Another option is to begin the documentary with the best parts of Sammy's interview, have a montage interlude section and then continue with the Vox Pops to end the documentary. This would give the film structure and add continuity.

Our final idea was to focus on Brighton when compared to other cities. This is mentioned a lot and we could focus our whole documentary project on this topic as Sammy and all the interviewees compare Brighton to their home towns.

After discussion we have decided to choose the second idea. This is because the other two limited our footage. We would have to add in more montage sequences than needed to fill the time, where informational clips should be the main focus of a documentary. I feel that by choosing the second idea, we will make the best of the footage we have. We will also create an informational video, although not topic focused it won't feel alike a montage video like the other two ideas may have.
