Inspiration Insert: Annabel's Nightclub

This week I watched Annabel's Nightclub: A String of Naked Lightbulbs. This documentary was very influential to our project.

It covers the diverse and exciting history of Annabel's nightclub, which is situated in Mayfair, London. This documentary is very much observational. It allows the viewer to look in and witness peoples experiences with a certain place. It is also Interactive, in the fact that many of the interviewees directly address the camera.

I feel that this documentary will help guide our project in many ways. The style is very informative, which I believe would be a good route to go down with our Nightlife themed documentary. We need to ask about the history of clubs, how they were created and why they are still popular to this day. We could use historical archive footage of the clubs we visit, if we can find them, to add depth to our documentary.
