Inspiration Insert / Nightlife: A Portrait of Miami after Dark

This abstract, Random Act's documentary was very inspirational to my project.

Shot on 35mm, lit primarily by neon lights, and set to the track ‘Nightlife’ by the French electronic artist Sebastien Schuller - the films bright colours and paradisal beaches contrast the world found within the characters.

I feel this abstract take on the nightlife documentary could be an interesting take on our own project. Potentially including a segment of this style could add a bridge, or climax, to our narrative arc. I feel that having a studio scene within our location shoot could add another dimention to the piece.
